Q: What's covered? 

A: All OEM parts, dealer/professionally installed aftermarket items not covered under any warranty (with receipt).

Q: What vehicles are not covered? 

A: Any vehicle used for racing legally or otherwise. Commercial off highway use vehicles. 

Q: What is the waiting period? 

A: New cars are covered after the factory warranty expires. In some cases items not covered under factory warranty may be covered while dealer warranty work is being performed.

 

Q: What is not covered? 

A: Misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, items covered under insurance ie; flood damage or fire damage etc. No vehicle used for any form of racing. NOS boosted vehicles. 

Q: What type of vehicles are covered?

A: New and used; Cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Boats, PWCs, RVs, and snowmobiles. 

Q: Are classics covered? 

A: Yes, with some exceptions and different price scales. Please call or email for details. 

 

Q: Does my vehicle need to be registered? 

A: Yes your vehicle must have a current registration. (Some exceptions apply for powersports vehicles, depending on state) 

Q: Can I buy a warranty for a vehicle I purchased from a private seller? 

A: Yes 

Q: Do you offer multi vehicle discounts?

A: Yes we offer discounts for multiple vehicles. Prices and discounts vary, please call or email for more information. 

Q: What is the waiting period for vehicles bought from a private seller. 

A: 6 months, unless a vehicle inspection is performed by a certified mechanic/shop. Proof of inspection must be submitted. 

Q: Why a 6 month waiting period for used vehicles bought from a private seller?

A: This prevents fraudulent warranty claims on vehicles with existing issues. 

Q: How do I file a claim? 

A: Take your vehicle to any shop/ mechanic, have the shop call us. We will do the rest. 

Q: Is CashBackWarranty.com (CBW) liable for repairs? 

A: No, all repairs are the responsibility of the shop/mechanic performing repairs. 

Q: Does vehicle mileage matter?

A: No 

Q: Does vehicle age matter? 

A: Yes and no. Any age vehicle can be covered. Classic/Antique vehicles have a different price scale. 

Q: Can I buy a warranty for a commercial vehicle? 

A: Yes, but only for on highway use vehicles that are maintained and repaired by a dealership or local shop. 

Q: Can warranty be transferred? 

A: Yes but cash back will be forfeited. 

Q: Can I buy a warranty for a vehicle I am selling? 

A: Yes we encourage this and offer a reduced rate for sellers. This gives buyers piece of mind. A vehicle inspection (certified shop/mechanic) is required (may be paid for by either party) No cash back is available with this option. 

Q: Can I buy a warranty for a commercial vehicle I am selling? 

A: Yes, with proof of the current DOT inspection. The vehicle must not be Out of Service. 

Q: How much is my deductible? 

A: Deductibles range from zero to 6 million depending on repairs, but never over $500. (Need to iron these numbers out)

 

Q: How much money do I get back at the end of my warranty? 

A: This depends on use of warranty. Please see your warranty terms. The real answer is 1/2 or 1/3 depending on use of warranty and deductibles paid. 

Q: Can I earn a referral fee? 

A: Yes! You can earn up to 2/3 of the cost of your warranty for referrals. Based on number of referrals who purchase a warranty (Some restrictions apply). 

Referral rewards will be paid at the time of warranty end, and Cash Back, if applicable, is issued. 

Q: Does warranty cover rental cars?

A: No. This helps keep warranty prices low.

Q: Will CashBackWarranty.com (CBW) reimburse me for a ride service?

A: We do! There is generous $150 limit. We understand many of our customers live in rural places that require greater travel distances to get services done. 

Q: Can I get a refund? 

A: Yes! The following refund structure applies:

100% refund within 3 days and no claims

90% refund within 3-30 days and no claims

75% refund within 30-60 days and no claims

25% refund after 90 days depending on use

Q: What's the catch? 

A: There is no catch! We want you to use the warranty if needed. We also want to give you something back if you don't have any claims. This is a win-win Cash Back Warranty.

Q: Does CashBack Warranty sell my information?

A: Absolutely not! In a world where our privacy is perpetually invaded and security feels uncertain, we deeply value protecting our customers. Under no circumstance will your information be provided to anyone.
